On weekends, UVic’s English Language Centre offers optional half-day and full-day trips
to some of the best destinations across Vancouver Island, Vancouver, and students can even head down to Seattle.

所有週末自費行程均於抵達後於活動櫃台登記與付款，不需提前決定。

Visiting Seattle by Victoria Clipper
搭乘維多利亞快船前往西雅圖
Many students spend a free weekend visiting Seattle. The Victoria Clipper high-speed ferry departs from Victoria’s Inner Harbour and arrives in downtown Seattle in about 2 hours 45 minutes.
很多學生會利用週末自由時間前往西雅圖。維多利亞快船從市中心內港出發， 約 2 小時 45 分鐘 抵達西雅圖市中心。
Important Notes 注意事項
- Not an official UVic activity（此行程非 UVic 官方行程）
- Students purchase tickets on their own（學生需自行購票）
- Travel insurance recommended（建議加購旅遊保險）
- ESTA required for entering the U.S.（入境美國需申請 ESTA）
ESTA Requirement（台灣學生）
Taiwanese passport holders must apply for ESTA (1–3 days). 台灣護照須申請 ESTA，請提前申辦。
